Feature Request tickets

 If you receive any ticket with category labeled as “Feature Request”, please follow below circumstances for better response.

1st Circumstance:

1. If you verified that user's requested feature is still not implemented, you can response using below template and resolved the ticket.

2. After resolving the ticket, send content ticket to our developer's email address.

Template:

"Thanks for the valuable feedback. We have forwarded this request for investigation to our business analyst team in order to check feasibility to consider this in our future development cycles."

2nd Circumstance:

As the template above is enough in general, but in case the user is suggesting already implemented features, we should mention it to the user.

Sample Invalid Feature Request:

Ticket #1: JQL-YSP-9UNV - Auto checkout is already implemented. 

  • We already checkout members after booking expires and/or after 8 hours automatically
  • We have automatic checkout via geofencing in case the member is using the native iOS or Android application.

 

Ticket #2: TU4-TNM-ZE37 - Add electric charging parking places for reservation for Hel Karvaamokuja office.

  • We have features in the system to be allocated to desks, rooms or parking places. These features are customizable.

A proper answer would be:

Hello XY,

In Door James we provide highly configurable office setup to our clients. In your specific case, you have to reach out to your office administrators, who are managing the virtual office in Door James.
They can add features to each parking lot, i.e. to all electric charging parking lots a feature “Electric charging”. They need to create the feature beforehand.

Ticket #3: The following features are now available on the App:

Time Recording: Once the new time recording feature is activated, users can easily log their work hours, breaks, vacations, sick leaves, and manage their overtime directly from the app. This ensures that users have a convenient and accessible way

to manage their work time efficiently.

This feature has to be activated by your facility manager in the Admin Panel.

Time Tracker 
This new functionality has still been built. However it was temporarily activated at some offices by mistake, and it has already been removed from all offices.  In the future, this feature will not be used without an organizational level approval and activation.
