April 2026 Release

April 2026

♦ Door James Meet

Door James Meet is now available in Door James 2.0. Users can share a personal booking link so external contacts can easily find and book an available meeting time, without needing a Door James login. You will find it in Door James 2.0 by clicking on the profile icon > Settings > Bookings. Meet is not connected to desks or rooms yet, but support for asset-based scheduling is coming soon.

⊕ Improvements

AI Recommended Bookings Control → Administrators can now decide whether AI recommended bookings should appear for each office. This makes it easier to manage office-specific preferences and rollout needs.
Map View → The map view is easier to read and navigate, with clearer desk and room details, improved filters, and better mobile behavior. When you hover over a booked asset, you can see who booked it when their booking location is shared. If the name or profile picture is not visible, this means the user has not enabled their booking location to be shown.
Profile and Settings → Profile and settings pages are now easier to use, with clearer options for languages, interests, privacy preferences, and privacy notices. This makes it simpler to keep personal information accurate and up to date.
Asset Status Guidance → Asset labels and status messages are now clearer, helping users quickly understand what they can do with different assets. This includes clearer check-in-only guidance for phone booths and improved labeling when bookings are scheduled for an asset.

↔ Bug Fixes

Profile Details → Profile pages now show available user details more consistently, making it easier to view colleague information.
Onboarding Language Selection → Language options are now easier to recognize during onboarding with the correct visual indicators displayed.
